z-Biomedikal has been supplying medical technology to healthcare institutions since 1996. We do not simply sell the device: we install it, train the users and keep it running in the field. In activated clotting time (ACT) testing we manufacture our own products; in other areas we work as the authorised distributor of global manufacturers in Türkiye.
We are among the few manufacturers worldwide producing Celite-activated test tubes for tube-based ACT systems. z-ACT® tubes have been manufactured since 2006 and are compatible with Actalyke® and Hemochron® instruments. Following a TÜBİTAK-supported development programme, we manufacture both test tubes and the measuring unit under the z-ACT brand. Since 2018 we have also produced medical nitric oxide gas under the z-NoGaz brand.
Our portfolio covers ACT and INR testing, nitric oxide therapy systems, targeted temperature management, surgical power systems, cardiovascular tissue patches and oxygenators. We work with ITC (Noxtec) in nitric oxide, Gentherm CSZ in temperature management, De Soutter Medical in surgical power systems, Helena Laboratories and EasyDiagnosis in coagulation testing, and Tisgenx in tissue patches.
For needs that standard products do not meet, our group company z-ArGe İnovasyon steps in: electronic design, embedded systems, medical device development and transition to series production. The engineering behind z-ACT comes from there.
