The Actalyke MAX-ACT tube is a reagent tube used in activated clotting time measurement and is used together with Actalyke systems. MAX-ACT tubes (grey flip-top, 50 tubes per box) contain kaolin, celite and glass-bead activators together, maximising Factor XII activation and increasing heparin specificity.
They are linear up to 6 units of heparin per mL of blood, making them suitable for monitoring patients on moderate to high heparin dosages. Only 0.5 cc of whole blood is required per test. z-Biomedikal is the authorised distributor of Helena Actalyke products in Türkiye.
