z-ACT® Celite test tubes are manufactured for the determination of activated clotting time (ACT), with Celite® used as the activator. They can be used during and after all medical and surgical procedures involving heparin. z-ACT® Celite test tubes are compatible with tube-based ACT instruments, including Actalyke® and Hemochron®.
z-ACT is z-Biomedikal's own brand of ACT test tubes; manufacturing, quality control and supply are handled directly by z-Biomedikal. z-ACT® tubes have been manufactured since 2006.
