The Helena Actalyke family consists of point-of-care test systems for activated clotting time (ACT) measurement. It enables rapid bedside assessment of coagulation status in heparinised patients in the operating theatre, perfusion and intensive care. The instruments work together with Actalyke tubes and test cards. All premiere Actalyke systems use two-point clot detection at 0° and 90°, capturing the clot at early fibrin formation and improving result reliability, particularly with highly heparinised and diluted samples.
